HISTORY OF CHICHESTER PRIORY PARK CRICKET CLUB:
Chichester Priory Park CC was founded in 1851 and has a proud history and particularly strong connection with the birth of Test Cricket.
The club has 4 Senior Saturday league teams (women & men) and plays in the 1st Central Sussex Cricket League where it regularly competes for honours. Our ambition over the next 5 years is to once again achieve Premier Division status.
Goodwood CC in the beautiful grounds of Goodwood Estate host our 1st & 2nd XI fixtures and our 3rd & 4th XI have the honour of playing in Priory Park, Chichester.
We are actively growing our women’s & girls division and now have Women’s hardball, softball and T20 league teams.
We are actively recruiting girls for our junior teams right now! We currently have an U11 & U13 team and hope to enter additional girls teams over the next few years. We are also recruiting senior women who may be interested in playing hardball or softball cricket for the upcoming season. We have an amazing team of coaches and a dedicated training night for our women and girls or you are welcome to train in our mixed training sessions at either Goodwood CC or Priory Park.
