Softball Taster Sessions

Our club is a Disability Champion Club we are starting to develop activity to support this growing area. We are working with the Sussex Cricket Foundation – Chichester and Arun Disability Cricket Partnership, Eastergate CC, West Wittering CC and Arundel CC to provide sessions for young people (16+) with special educational and additional learning needs, neurodivergent conditions, physical and intellectual disabilities. 

Charities have been engaged via the Foundation but do spread the word if you know an individual or organisation that may be interested in the provision.

Our sessions are:

  • Activity: Softball
  • Location: Priory Park, Chichester
  • Dates: 6/8, 13/8, 20/8, 3/9
  • Times: 13:00 – 14:30
  • Ages: 16+
  • Sessions are free of charge 
  • All our coaches are ECB qualified, have completed disability awareness training, have all the necessary safeguarding checks/training in place and are first aid trained.
  • We will bring all the equipment for the sessions. Please bring a water bottle, wear appropriate clothing to be physical active and weather appropriate.
