The club has been shocked by the passing of Max Smith, at the age of 18.
Max played for Chichester through the junior sections and regularly played in the senior teams. Just a few weeks ago he was looking forward to coming back from Uni in Bristol to play.
Whilst Chichester Priory Park CC is mourning the death, we also want and will remember Max. He was the embodiment of why many of us spend our time helping others play cricket. Max always had a smile, wanted to play and get better, but importantly he was polite, caring and a thoroughly fine young man.
Our love and thoughts go to his family and loved ones at this deeply sad time.
